Mighty Maroons Ilan Army keeps marching on

Torres Strait MaroonsÂ’ Ilan Army carried the Queensland State-of-Origin team to another victory in Sydney on Wednesday night, July 2, winning 16-10 to annex a third, straight Series win. About 150 people, all decked out in Queensland gear, accompanied by a cavalcade of motor vehicles, marched from the Post Office to the Bowls Club on Thursday Island. A few Blues supporters heckled along the route, but they were to face the ignomy of yet another series loss, only a matter of hours later.
